AMC Announces Premiere Date for New Drama 'Lucky Hank' Starring Bob Odenkirk and Mireille Enos

During the network's presentation at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour today, AMC announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Lucky Hank (formerly Straight Man) starring Bob Odenkirk and Mireille Enos.

The 8-episode first season will debut on Sunday, March 19 at 9/8c.

Based on the novel Straight Man by Richard Russo, the drama follows the mid-life crisis of William Henry Devereaux Jr. (Odenkirk), the unlikely chairman of the English department in a badly underfunded college in the Pennsylvania rust belt.

In addition to Odenkirk and Enos, the drama stars Olivia Scott Welch, Diedrich Bader, Sara Amini, Cedric Yarbrough and Suzanne Cryer.

Aaron Zelman and Paul Lieberstein developed the drama. They executive produce with Odenkirk, Russo, Mark Johnson, Naomi Odenkirk, Marc Provissiero and director Peter Farrelly. TriStar Television and Gran Via Productions produce.
