NETFLIX's THE PERFECT COUPLE
- Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Meghann Fahy, Dakota Fanning, Eve Hewson and Jack Reynor are in negotiations to star in the upcoming limited series developed by Jenna Lamia based on the novel by Elin Hilderbrand. Susanne Bier is set to direct and executive produce. No details were immediately announced about the characters the six actors will be playing.
- Kidman has received five Academy Award nominations - winning in 2003 for her lead performance in The Hours. She also has received three Emmy Award nominations - winning twice in 2017 for starring in and executive producing the first season of HBO's Big Little Lies. Her casting reunites her with Bier, who previously directed Kidman in the HBO limited series The Undoing.
- Schreiber previously starred for seven seasons in Showtime's Ray Donovan as well as its 2022 follow-up movie - receiving three of his nine Emmy Award nominations for his performance and another for producing. Furthermore, he has received three Tony Award nominations - winning in 2005 for his featured role in the play Glengarry Glen Ross. He next stars in National Geographic's upcoming limited series A Small Light.
- Fahy recently starred in the second season of HBO's The White Lotus, joining in the drama's SAG Award win earlier this year for ensemble performance. She previously starred for five seasons in Freeform's The Bold Type.
- Fanning previously starred for two seasons in TNT's The Alienist and in the Showtime limited series The First Lady, which was also directed in its entirety by Bier. She also holds the distinction of being the youngest performer to be nominated for a SAG Award - a feat she accomplished in 2001 for her performance in I Am Sam at age 8.
- Hewson and Reynor star in the film Flora and Son, which was screened at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and picked up for distribution by AppleTV+. Furthermore, Hewson currently stars in AppleTV+'s Bad Sisters, which has been renewed for a second season. Elsewhere, Reynor currently stars in Amazon's The Peripheral, which has also been renewed for a second season.
