ABC Cancels 'Alaska Daily,' 'Big Sky' and 'The Company You Keep'

ABC has today decided to cancel three of its original drama series - Alaska Daily and The Company You Keep after one season apiece and Big Sky after three seasons.






Alaska Daily starred Hilary Swank, Jeff Perry, Matt Malloy, Meredith Holzman, Grace Dove, Pablo Castelblanco, Ami Park and Craig Frank.

Tom McCarthy created the drama, while Peter Elkoff served as showrunner. They executive produced with Swank, Melissa Wells, Bert Salke, Kyle Hopkins and Ryan Binkley. 20th Television produced.

The drama finished its 11-episode first and only season on March 30, 2023.


Big Sky starred Katheryn Winnick, Kylie Bunbury, Dedee Pfeiffer, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, J. Anthony Pena, Jensen Ackles and Reba McEntire. 

David E. Kelley created the drama, while Elwood Reid served as showrunner. They executive produced with C.J. Box, Gwyneth Horder-Payton, Paul McGuigan, Matthew Gross and Ross Fineman.

The drama completed its 47-episode run on January 18, 2023.


The Company You Keep starred Milo Ventimiglia, Catherine Haena Kim, Sarah Wayne Callies, Polly Draper, William Fichtner, Tim Chiou, James Saito, Freda Foh Shen and Felisha Terrell.

Julia Cohen created the drama and served as co-showrunner alongside Phil Klemmer. They executive produced with Ventimiglia, Russ Cundiff, Jon M. Chu, Caitlin Foito, Todd Harthan and Lindsay Goffman. 20th Television, DiVide Pictures and Electric Somewhere produced.

The drama ended its 10-episode run on May 7, 2023.
