Netflix Announces Premiere Date for Dark Comedy 'Bodkin' Starring Will Forte

Netflix has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming hourlong comedy series Bodkin starring Will Forte.







All seven episodes of the first season will be available on Thursday, May 9.

The dark comedic thriller follows a motley crew of podcasters who set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in a quaint, coastal Irish town. But once they start pulling at threads, they discovery a story much bigger and weirder than they could have ever imagined. As our heroes try to discern fact from fiction - about the case, about their colleagues, and, most painfully, themselves - the series challenges our perception of truth and exposes the stories we tell ourselves to justify our beliefs or validate our fears.

In addition to Forte, the series stars Siobhan Cullen, Robyn Cara, Chris Walley and David Wilmot.

Jez Scharf created the series and serves as co-showrunner alongside Alex Metcalf. They executive produce with Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, David Flynn, Paul Lee, Nne Ebong, Tonia Davis and director Nash Edgerton. Higher Ground and wiip produce.
