AppleTV+ Announces Premiere Date for Comedy 'Bad Monkey' Starring Vince Vaughn

AppleTV+ has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series Bad Monkey starring Vince Vaughn.







The 10-episode first season will debut on Wednesday, August 14 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Wednesday until the season finale on October 9.

Based on the novel by Carl Hiaasen, Andrew Yancy (Vaughn) has been bounced from the Miami Police Department and is now a health inspector in the Keys. But after stumbling upon a case that begins with a human arm fished up by tourists, he realizes that if he can prove murder, he'll be back in. He just needs to get past a trove of Floridian oddballs and one bad monkey.

In addition to Vaughn, the comedy stars L. Scott Caldwell, Rob Delaney, Meredith Hagner, Natalie Martinez, Alex Moffat, Michelle Monaghan, Ronald Peet and Jodie Turner-Smith.

Special guest stars include John Ortiz, Zach Braff and Charlotte Lawrence in her television debut.

Bill Lawrence developed the series. He executive produces with Vaughn, Jeff Ingold, Matt Tarses, Marcos Siega and Liza Katzer. Warner Bros. Television and Doozer Productions produce.
