HBO's THE LAST OF US
  • Jeffrey Wright has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. He received an Academy Award nomination in 2023 for his performance in the film American Fiction. He has also received five Emmy Award nominations - winning in 2004 for his supporting role in HBO's Angels in America.
  • He will play Isaac, the quietly powerful leader of a large militia group, known as the Washington Liberation Front, who sought liberty but instead has become mired in an endless war against a surprisingly resourceful enemy.
NETFLIX's DEATH BY LIGHTNING
  • Bradley Whitford, Shea Whigham, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Paula Malcomson and Tuppence Middleton have been cast on the upcoming limited series starring Matthew Macfadyen and Michael Shannon. Whitford currently stars in Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale, which has been renewed for a sixth and final season. Whigham starred for five seasons in HBO's Boardwalk Empire, two seasons in HBO's Perry Mason and in the Starz limited series Gaslit. Henderson recently starred in the film Civil War. Malcomson starred for three seasons in HBO's Deadwood and five seasons in Showtime's Ray Donovan. Middleton starred for two seasons in Netflix's Sense8.
  • Whitford will play Secretary of State James Blaine. Whigham will play Senator Roscoe Conkling, Henderson will play Senate Blanche Bruce. Malcomson will play Franny Scoville. Middleton will play Kate Chase Sprague.
