CBS Cancels 'Poppa's House' After One Season

CBS has today decided to cancel its original comedy series Poppa's House after one season. The series will conclude after 18 episodes next Monday, April 28.






The comedy starred Damon Wayans Sr., Damon Wayans Jr., Essence Atkins and Tetona Jackson.

Wayans Sr. co-created the comedy with Kevin Hench. They executive produced with Wayans Jr., Dean Lorey, Michael Petok and Andy Ackerman. CBS Studios, Two Shakes Entertainment, Lorey Stories, Hench in the Trench Productions and NuSystems Productions produced.

Poppa's House joins dramas FBI: Most Wanted, FBI: International and S.W.A.T. in being cancelled by CBS this year. The broadcast network has not yet made a decision on the future of The Equalizer.
