Netflix's 'Heartstopper' to Conclude with Feature Film

Netflix has today announced that its original drama series Heartstopper will conclude with a feature film. Production on the special will commence in summer 2025.






Nick and Charlie are inseparable, but with Nick preparing to leave for university and Charlie finding new independence at school, the reality of a long-distance relationship begins to weigh on them. Doubts take hold, and their relationship faces its biggest challenge yet. Meanwhile, their friends are also navigating the ups and downs of love and friendship, confronting the bittersweet challenges of growing up and moving on. Can first loves really last forever?

The drama stars Kit Connor, Joe Locke, William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood, Jenny Walser, Leila Khan, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Fisayo Akinade, Chetna Pandya and Nima Taleghani.

Alice Oseman wrote the film, which will be directed by Wash Westmoreland. Oseman executive produces with Connor, Locke, Patrick Walters, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman and Euros Lyn. See-Saw Films produces.
