Netflix Renews 'Survival of the Thickest' for Third and Final Season

Netflix has today renewed its original comedy series Survival of the Thickest for a third and final season. An episode count and premiere date window were not immediately announced.

The comedy stars Michelle Buteau, Tone Bell and Tasha Smith.

Buteau co-created the comedy with Danielle Sanchez-Witzel. They executive produce with Amy Aniobi, Grace Edwards, Alli Reich, Ravi Nandan and Anne Hong. A24, SanWitz Productions, Buteaupia and Mosaic produce.

The 8-episode first season debuted in July 2023. The 8-episode second season followed in March 2025.
