Paramount+ Renews 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' for Fifth and Final Season

Paramount+ has today renewed its original drama series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds for a fifth and final season. Production on the final six episodes will begin later this year.






The 10-episode third season premieres on Thursday, July 17 with its first two episodes. New episodes will then be released weekly every Thursday until the season finale on September 11. The drama is currently in production on a 10-episode fourth season.

The drama stars Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun and Martin Quinn.

Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers serve as co-showrunners on the third season. They executive produce with Mount, Alex Kurtzman, Aaron Baiers, Dana Horgan, Alan McElroy, Robbie Thompson, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Chris Fisher, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth. CBS Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment produce.
