NBC has today given a series order to the original comedy series Stumble starring Jenn Lyon (Claws, Dead Boy Detectives) and Taran Killam (Saturday Night Live, Single Parents).
The mockumentary will center on the ridiculously high stakes competitive world of junior college cheer.
In addition to Lyon and Killam, the comedy will star Ryan Pinkston, Jarrett Austin Brown, Anissa Borrego, Arianna Davis, Taylor Dunbar and Georgie Murphy.
Furthermore, Kristin Chenoweth will appear as a recurring guest star in the first season.
Jeff and Liz Astrof wrote the pilot, which was directed by Jeff Blitz. All three will executive produce with Dana Honor and Monica Aldama. Universal Television and Defining Eve Productions will produce.
