Disney+ has today renewed its original drama series Daredevil: Born Again for a third season. The renewal comes ahead of the drama's second season launch in 2026.
The second season will pick up following the cliffhanger of the first season, in which crime lord Wilson Fisk violently consolidated power, leading Matt Murdock to go underground and begin reaching out to allies to resist Fisk and his anti-vigilante task force.
The drama stars Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer and Jon Bernthal.
Krysten Ritter will reprise her role as superhero-turned-private eye Jessica Jones in the upcoming second season as one of Murdoch's allies.
Dario Scardapane serves as head writer on the second season. Directors include Justin Benson, Aaron Moorhead, Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff and David Boyd.
Production on the third season is expected to begin in early 2026.
