NBC Announces Premiere Date for New Comedy 'Stumble' Starring Jenn Lyon and Taran Killam

NBC has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original comedy series Stumble starring Jenn Lyon and Taran Killam. The network has also revealed a linear debut for the Peacock comedy The Paper, which released its first season earlier this month.

The first season of Stumble will debut on Friday, November 7 at 8:30/7:30c. Meanwhile, the first season of The Paper will begin its broadcast run on Monday, November 10 at 8:30/7:30c.

"Knowing how much The Office was beloved by a broadcast audience when it aired on NBC, we wanted to give The Paper a similar opportunity to connect," said Lisa Katz, President of Scripted Programming, NBCU Entertainment. "One of the strengths of our company is meeting fans where they are by delivering shows across multiple platforms to maximize exposure and engagement."

Stumble is a mockumentary about the ridiculously high stakes competitive world of junior college cheer.

In addition to Lyon and Killam, the comedy stars Ryan Pinkston, Jarrett Austin Brown, Anissa Borrego, Arianna Davis, Taylor Dunbar, and Georgie Murphy, with recurring guest star Kristin Chenoweth.

Jeff and Liz Astrof created the comedy. They executive produce with Dana Honor, Monica Aldama and director Jeff Blitz. Universal Television and Defining Eve Productions produce.
