Reports emerged over the weekend that Prime Video had renewed its original drama series Ballard for a second season. Today, the streaming service confirmed the news. The renewal keeps the world that starting with Bosch in 2014 alive on the platform heading into 2026.
The drama stars Maggie Q, Courtney Taylor, Michael Mosley, Rebecca Field, Victoria Moroles, Amy Hill and John Carroll Lynch.
Michael Alaimo and Kendall Sherwood developed the drama based on the novels by Michael Connelly. The showrunners and author executive produce with Henrik Bastin, Jasmine Russ and Trish Hofmann. Amazon MGM Studios, Hieronymus Pictures and Fabel Entertainment produce.
