Prime Video Sets Premiere Date for New Drama '56 Days' Starring Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia

Prime Video has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series 56 Days starring Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia.

All eight episodes of the first season will be available on Wednesday, February 18.

Based on the novel by Catherine Ryan Howard, the series follows Oliver (Jogia) and Ciara (Cameron), who, after meeting randomly in a supermarket, fall for each other fast, and dangerously hard. Fifty-six days later, homicide investigators arrive at Oliver's apartment to find an unidentified body - brutally murdered and intentionally decomposed. Did he kill her? Did she kill him? Intercutting between an intense single day in the present investigation, and the twisted trajectory of the young lovers' affair in the past, the series is both a unique crime story and a riveting, sexy, psychological thriller.

In addition to Cameron and Jogia, the drama stars Karla Souza and Dorian Missick.

Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher developed the drama. They executive produce with James Wan, Michael Clear and Rob Hackett. Howard serves as a co-executive producer. Amazon MGM Studios and Atomic Monster produce.
