APPLE TV's SAFE HOUSES
  • Ana de Armas and Jennifer Connelly are in negotiations to star in the upcoming drama developed by Gideon Raff. De Armas was nominated for an Academy Award in 2022 for her lead role in Blonde. She also starred in the films Knives Out, No Time to Die, Ghosted and Ballerina. Connelly won an Academy Award in 2001 for her supporting role in A Beautiful Mind. She currently stars in Apple TV's Dark Matter, which has been renewed for a second season.
  • Based on the novel by Dan Fesperman, the international espionage thriller is set in the aftermath of the killing of a high-ranking CIA officer in Madrid, Spain. The show will center on Sofia Jiménez (de Armas), a fugitive agent accused of the crime, and Ambassador Elizabeth Winthrop (Connelly), his widow, as they each investigate the murder from opposite sides, unraveling a vast conspiracy that could upend the balance of global power.
HBO's THE WHITE LOTUS
  • Sandra Bernhard has joined the cast of the upcoming fourth installment of the anthology drama. She previously starred for two seasons in FX's Pose. She also recurred on ABC's Roseanne, FOX's Brooklyn Nine-Nine, FX's American Horror Story and Apple TV's Severance.
  • No details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing. The cast also features Helena Bonham Carter, Chris Messina, Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka.
