MGM+'s THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN
- Matt Dillon will star in and executive produce the upcoming drama based on the classic 1960 Western film. He was nominated for an Academy Award in 2005 for his supporting performance in Crash. On television, he previously starred in the first season of FOX's Wayward Pines and in Apple TV's one-season comedy High Desert.
- He will play Chris Adams, the leader of seven gunslingers determined to protect a group of innocent villagers from a mercenary land baron hellbent on stealing their land. Stoic, steady under pressure, and with an unflinching gaze that does most of the talking for him, Chris has no patience for hypocrisy or cruelty and holds fast to a quiet moral code rooted in fairness and restraint.
NETFLIX's THE HUNTING WIVES
- Casey Mills has been cast as a recurring guest star on the drama's upcoming second season. He previously recurred on ABC/CMT's Nashville and Prime Video's As We See It.
- No details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing.
SHOWTIME's YELLOWJACKETS
- Molly Ringwald and June Squibb have landed recurring roles on the drama's upcoming fourth and final season. Ringwald is best known for starring in the films Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink. She also starred for five seasons in ABC Family's The Secret Life of the American Teenager and recurred on The CW's Riverdale. Squibb was nominated for an Academy Award in 2013 for her supporting role in Nebraska. She also recurred on Showtime's Shameless and NBC's Good Girls.
- Ringwald will play Vicky, Van's (Lauren Ambrose as an adult, Liv Hewson as a teen) mother, a recently recovered alcoholic trying her best to course correct her past.
- No details were released about the character Squibb will be playing.
NETFLIX's UNTAMED
- Moon Bloodgood, Kekoa Kekumano, Luciane Buchanan, Moronai Kanekoa, Robbie Magasiva, Myra Molloy, Branscombe Richmond, Matthew Keoni Sato and Joe Tippett have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. Bloodgood previously starred for five seasons in TNT's Falling Skies. Both Kekumano and Magasiva starred in FOX's one-season drama Rescue: HI-Surf. Buchanan starred for two seasons in Netflix's The Night Agent. Kanekoa recurred on Prime Video's Bosch and its spinoff Bosch: Legacy. Molloy appeared in the Netflix film He's All That. Richmond recurred on NBC's Chicago Med and Apple TV's Chief of War. Sato starred for two seasons in Disney+'s Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. Tippett currently stars in Apple TV's Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, which begins its second season this Friday.
- Bloodgood will play Layla Hale. Deeply connected to Hawaii, she's funny, confident and intuitive. She's able to sense Turner's (Eric Bana) suffering and helps bring out a softer side.
- Kekumano will play Marcus Sawada, a local Hawaiian Volcanoes Park Ranger assigned to assist Turner in the murder investigation.
- Buchanan will play Ku'ulei Pana. She grew up on the island, making her well-connected, and is the detective with Hawaii PD assigned to the murder investigation.
- Kanekoa will play Ti Hale, a proud and territorial wrangler on the Hale family ranch. His traditional values are challenged by his daughter Addy's wilder side.
- Magasiva will play Ochi, a longtime Hawaii Police Lieutenant and Pana's boss.
- Molloy will play Addy Hale, the youngest member of the Hale Ranch family. She has a wild streak despite her family's traditional values. She finds herself caught up in Turner's murder investigation.
- Richmond will play Ikua Hale, the owner and patriarch of Hale Ranch, which has been in the family for six generations. He is untrusting toward outsiders.
- Sato will play Kaden Burkart, who works for his father, Ray (Shea Whigham), and is dedicated to the family business.
- Tippett will play Casper Kane, a lone wolf. He is never in one place for long, competent in the wilderness and living off the land, he's looking to leave his mark.
