Hulu has today acquired the stateside rights to the upcoming original dramedy series Sunny Nights starring Will Forte and D'Arcy Carden. The streamer has also announced the premiere date for the series.
All eight episodes of the Australian series will be available on Hulu on Wednesday, March 11.
Strait-laced American Martin Marvin (Forte) teams up with his loose cannon sister, Vicki (Carden), to set up a spray tan business in Sydney. But as Martin and Vicki attempt to turn their company from a start-up operating out of the back of a van into a multi-million-dollar empire, the siblings become tangled up in Sydney's criminal underworld. When a ruthless gangster begins to catch up with them, the two must figure out how to stay alive, out of prison, and in the black.
In addition to Forte and Carden, the cast features Rachel House, Jessica De Gouw, Miritana Hughes, Ra Chapman, Megan Wilding and Patrick Brammall.
Nick Keetch and Ty Freer created the series. They executive produce with Forte, Carden, Cailah Scobie, Amanda Duthie, Tom Misselbrook, James Durie and director Trent O'Donnell. Stan, Jungle Entertainment and Echo Lake Entertainment produce.
