MGM+'s LEGACY OF SPIES
- Dan Stevens, Felix Kammerer, Agnes O'Casey, Volker Bruch, Saskia Rosendahl, Patrick Güldenberg, Safia Oakley-Green, Jake Dunn and Ariyon Bakare have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Matthew Macfadyen, Charlie Hunnam, Daniel Brühl and Devrim Lingnau Islamoğlu.
- Stevens (Legion, The Terror) will play Bill Haydon, a brilliant and enigmatic spymaster.
- Kammerer (All Quiet on the Western Front, Frankenstein) will play Hans-Dieter Mundt, a brutal, unpredictable and psychotically deadly Stasi enforcer.
- O'Casey (Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light, Black Doves) will play Liz Gold, an idealistic young woman at the heart of the story.
- Bruch (Babylon Berlin, Generation War) will play Emmanuel Rapp, a high-ranking Stasi official.
- Rosendahl (Lore, Cicadas) will play Lotte Gamp, Doris' (Lingnau Islamoğlu) courageous and protective sister.
- Güldenberg (The Ibiza Affair, Tatort) will play Dr. Karl Riemeck, a principled doctor pulled into the world of espionage.
- Oakley-Green (Out of Darkness, The Lazarus Project) will play Molly Gibson, an energetic new intelligence officer and one of Alec Leamas' (Hunnam) most trusted deputies.
- Dunn (Renegade Nell, What It Feels Like For a Girl) will play Peter Guillam, George Smiley's (Macfadyen) trusted lieutenant.
- Bakare (His Dark Materials, Mr Loverman) will play Cy Aflon, a seasoned U.S. intelligence officer.
PRIME VIDEO's MR. & MRS. SMITH
- Production has started today in Los Angeles County on the drama's upcoming second season. Season 1 stars Donald Glover and Maya Erskine are returning, with Erskine joining Glover as an executive producer for Season 2. As previously reported, Anora's Mark Eydelshteyn will portray a new lead role. Moreover, Talia Ryder (Never Rarely Sometimes Always) has joined the cast in the role previously designated for Yellowjackets star Sophie Thatcher.
- No details were immediately announced about the characters or plot for the second season. Glover and Erskine are expected to be reprising their roles as John and Jane Smith. The extent of their presence is unclear. Meanwhile, Thatcher had to depart the series after production was delayed. That meant filming on the final season of Showtime's Yellowjackets would be occurring at the same time.

- Jaime Ray Newman, Jessie Cohen, Tess Paras and Candace Allen have been cast in recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Daisy Jelley, Sadie Stanley and Annie Murphy. Newman currently stars in Netflix's The Hunting Wives, which has been renewed for a second season. Cohen previously recurred on Freeform's Good Trouble. Paras recurred on The CW's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Allen appeared in the 2024 film The Requiem Boogie.
- Newman will play Jess. Cohen will play Jenny. Paras will play Samantha. Allen will play Melissa.
