Peacock has today renewed its original comedy series The Burbs for a second season. An episode count and premiere date window were not immediately announced.
The comedy stars Keke Palmer, Jack Whitehall, Kapil Talwalkar, Julia Duffy, Paula Pell and Mark Proksch.
Celeste Hughey developed the series based on the feature film of the same name. She executive produces with Palmer, Seth MacFarlane, Erica Huggins, Aimee Carlson, Rachel Shukert, Brian Grazer, Kristen Zolner, Natalie Berkus and director Nzingha Stewart. Universal Content Productions, Imagine Entertainment, Fuzzy Door Productions and Out of the Blue Productions produce.
The eight-episode first season was released on February 8, 2026.
