Prime Video Unveils Premiere Date for New Drama "Blade Runner 2099" Starring Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer

During the show's presentation today at San Diego Comic-Con, Prime Video announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Blade Runner 2099 starring Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer.






All eight episodes of the first season will be available on Wednesday, November 25.

In Los Angeles 2099, Olwen (Yeoh), a veteran Blade Runner days from dying, partners with a mysterious new recruit, Cora (Schafer), to investigate a widening conspiracy that stretches back to the city's darkest original sins.

In addition to Yeoh and Schafer, the drama stars Dimitri Abold and Lewis Gribben.

Recurring guest stars include Katelyn Rose Downey, Daniel Rigby, Johnny Harris, Amy Lennox, Sheila Atim, Matthew Needham, Tom Burke and Maurizio Lombardi.

Silka Luisa developed the drama set in the universe of the film franchise. She executive produces with Ridley Scott, Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Ben Roberts, David W. Zucker, Clayton Krueger, Tom Spezialy, Richard Sharkey, Michael Green, Cynthia Yorkin, Frank Giustra, Isa Dick Hackett and director Jonathan van Tulleken. Amazon MGM Studios, Alcon Entertainment and Scott Free Productions produce.
