- Pruitt Taylor Vince, Malachi Beasley, Cheyenne Perez, Jeremy Radin, Charlz Williams and Rosanny Zayas have landed recurring roles on the drama's upcoming third season. Vince previously starred in the Apple TV limited series Lady in the Lake. Beasley appeared in the Netflix film A House of Dynamite. Perez recurred on HBO Max's The Sex Lives of College Girls. Radin guest starred on CBS' The Equalizer. Williams guest starred on Paramount+'s SEAL Team and BET's The Family Business. Zayas starred for three seasons in Showtime's The L Word: Generation Q.
- Vince will play Lance Candella aka The Professor, an Emergency Department patient.
- Beasley will play Taj Osei, a student doctor.
- Perez will play Marisol Elena Sambrano Monterossa, a student doctor.
- Radin will play Grant Emerson, an Emergency Department patient.
- Williams will play Angus Gunn aka Trigger, an Emergency Department patient.
- Zayas will play Vera Delgado, a physician assistant.

- Simon Arblaster, Danika Frederick, Dominic Goodman, Paravi, Sierra Sidwell, Mason Temple and Karl-Antoine Suprice have been cast in recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Melissa Collazo, Henry Eikenberry and Ginnifer Goodwin. Arblaster recurred on Starz's Spartacus: House of Ashur. Frederick recurred on Tubi's Safehaven. Goodman starred in Netflix's one-season dramedy Boots. A singer-songwriter, Paravi will make her acting debut on the series. Sidwell guest starred on AMC's Lucky Hank and ABC's Scrubs. Temple recurred on Netflix's Ginny & Georgia. Suprice starred for two seasons in Crave's Forever, Plus One Day.
