TV News - 'Arrow,' 'Castle,' 'Grimm,' 'The Good Wife,' 'Last Resort,' 'Supernatural,' 'Covert Affairs,' 'Necessary Roughness,' 'Burn Notice' & 'Revolution'

        Monday, July 30 - Today's casting updates include wonderful new roles and guest stars for The CW's Arrow and Supernatural; ABC's Castle and Last Resort; NBC's Grimm and Revolution; CBS' The Good Wife; and USA's Covert Affairs, Necessary Roughness and Burn Notice.

Canadian actor Michael Rowe will play Suicide Squad member and DC villain, Deadshot, on The CW's new drama, Arrow. Rowe is currently slated only to appear in the third episode titled "The Lone Gunman" but could appear in later episodes.

Chad Lindberg (Supernatural) will guest on an upcoming episode of ABC's Castle. He will play a career criminal in Castle and Beckett's sights.

John Pyper-Ferguson (Brothers & Sisters) will appear in the third episode of NBC's Grimm's second season as a man determined to take down previously announced guest star Mark Pellegrino (Lost). 

Josh Charles, who plays Will Gardner on CBS' The Good Wife, will mark his directorial debut this fall by helming the upcoming sixth episode of the series' fourth season. The episode is slated to air in early November.

Misha Collins will return to The CW's Supernatural for a minimum of eight episodes for the series upcoming eighth season.

Jay Karnes is reuniting with The Shield creator Shawn Ryan on his upcoming new ABC drama, Last Resort. Karnes will appear in the recurring role of Deputy Secretary of Defense William Curry, a shadowy figure who may be behind the attack on the USS Colorado.

Prime Suspect alum Tim Griffin has been cast in the recurring role of Seth Newman on USA's Covert Affairs. His character is a former field operative turned lawyer who will work for the CIA's Office of the Inspector General and who has a history with Joan Campbell.

Soap star Tamara Braun will appear on USA's Necessary Roughness as the younger sister to Dr. Dani (leading lady Callie Thorne), Ronnie. She is described as sassy, sexy and someone who always makes unexpected visits. Braun will first appear in episode 14 of the second season.

Alon Aboutboul (The Dark Knight Rises) and David Fickas (I Hate My 30's) are set to appear in the 14th episode of USA's Burn Notice's sixth season. Aboutboul will play Jabbar, a former Syrian intelligence officer wanted by both the CIA and the FBI. Fickas will play Jack Dixon, a skittish and paranoid computer hacker.

NBC's Revolution has cast Derek Webster (Harry's Law) in the recurring role of Nicholas, a strong rebel leader who faces off against Miles (Billy Burke).
