FOX's 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Lands Full Season Order & Post 'Super Bowl' Slot

FOX's Brooklyn Nine-Nine hasn't been the biggest breakout in the ratings. The network has a lot of faith in the comedy series, though, giving it a Back 9 order as well as picking to air alongside a new episode of New Girl after the network's broadcast of Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2, 2014.

"It's exciting to see that both critic and fans love Brooklyn Nine-Nine as much as we do," said FOX Entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly. "With Andy [Samberg] and Andre [Braugher] out in front of this incredible ensemble, it feels like this show is going to be around for a long time."

Through five telecasts, the comedy is average a 2.1/6 among Adults 18-49 with 4.9 million total viewers, according to Nielsen's most current Live+Same Day date. FOX is also quick to point out that Brooklyn Nine-Nine has the third-highest concentration of upscale viewers ($100k+ HH) of any new series so far this season and has boosted the network's averages among key male demos by +38% to +45%.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio and Chelsea Peretti.

The series is created and written by Dan Goor and Michael Schur, who serve as executive producers with David Miner, Phil Lord and Chris Miller. It is produced by Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment and Fremulon.
