FX Sets Premiere Dates for 'The Americans,' 'Atlanta' and 'Trust'

During its presentation at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, FX announced premiere dates for three of its original series - the second season of Atlanta, the final season of The Americans and the series debut of drama Trust.





The 11-episode second season of Atlanta will premiere on Thursday, March 1 at 10/9c.

The comedy stars Donald Glover, Brian Tyree Henry, Lakeith Lee Stanfield and Zazie Beetz.

Donald Glover created the comedy. He executive produces with Paul Simms, Dianne McGunigle and Stephen Glover. FX Productions produces.


New drama Trust will debut on Sunday, March 25 at 10/9c.

Inspired by actual events, the series delves into the trials and triumphs of one of America's wealthiest and unhappiest families: the Gettys. It begins in 1973 with the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III, an heir to the Getty oil fortune, by the Italian mafia in Rome.

The cast includes Donald Sutherland, Hilary Swank, Harris Dickinson, Brendan Fraser, Michael Esper, Hannah New and Anna Chancellor.

Simon Beaufoy created the drama. He executive produces with Christian Colson and director Danny Boyle. FX Productions, Cloud Eight Films, Decibal Films and Snicket Films Limited produce.


The sixth and final season of The Americans will begin on Wednesday, March 28 at 10/9c. 

The drama stars Matthew Rhys, Keri Russell, Brandon J. Dirden, Costa Ronin, Keidrich Sellati, Holly Taylor and Noah Emmerich.

Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields created the drama. They executive produce with Graham Yost, Chris Long, Stephen Schiff, Mary Rae Thewlis, Justin Falvey and Darryl Franks. FX Productions, Fox 21 Television Studios and Amblin Television produce.
