Syfy has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming third season of its original drama series The Expanse.
The 13-episode third season will premiere on Wednesday, April 11 at 9/9c.
The new episodes pick up with Earth, Mars and The Belt at war, with each competing entity vying for control. Now more than ever, the mission to unlock the secret of the protomolecule reaches an all-time high and every decision made could jeopardize the survival of the solar system.
The drama stars Steven Strait, Dominique Tipper, Cas Anvar, Wes Chatham, Frankie Adams and Shohreh Aghdashloo.
New recurring guest stars in the third season include Elizabeth Mitchell, Anna Hopkins and David Strathairn.
Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby developed the drama based on the novels by James S.A. Corey. They executive produce with Naren Shankar, Broderick Johnson, Andrew Kosove, Sharon Hall, Sean Daniel and Jason F. Brown. Alcon Entertainment produces.
