Netflix Renews 'Lucifer' for Fifth and Final Season

Netflix has today renewed the original drama series Lucifer for a fifth and final season. The new season will debut in 2020 as the second to be exclusive to the streaming service (its first three seasons aired on FOX).






"We are so incredibly thankful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season, and now letting us finish the story of Lucifer on our terms," said showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich. "Most importantly, we want to thank the fans for their incredible passion and support. The best is yet to come!"

The drama stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Kevin Alejandro, D.B. Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Scarlett Estevez, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia and Inbar Lavi.

Tom Kapinos developed the drama based on the DC Comics character. He executive produces with Henderson, Modrovich, Len Wiseman, Jonathan Littman and Jerry Bruckheimer. Warner Bros. Television, DC Entertainment and Jerry Bruckheimer Television produce.
