Casting News - Gugu Mbatha-Raw Lands Major Role on 'Loki'; Jan Luis Castellanos Joins '13 Reasons Why'; Plus 3 More Updates!

Disney+'s Loki; FX's Snowfall; and Netflix's 13 Reasons Why, Clickbait & Firefly Lane.

  • Abraham Lim, Jessica Collins, Ian Meadows, Daniel Henshall, Motell Foster, Jaylin Fletcher and Camaron Engels have joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Zoe Kazan and Betty Gabriel.
  • Lim (The Fix) will play Ben Park, a ruthlessly ambitious junior news producer who lives for clicks, likes and views. He is willing to wade into ethically murky waters if it means getting what he wants.
  • Collins (Revolution) will play Emma Beesley, a seemingly successful woman seeking spiritual and emotional nourishment. Her well-put-together facade starts to crumble when she's unwittingly drawn into the Brewer case.
  • Meadows (The Wrong Girl) will play Matt Aldin, Nick's (Adrian Grenier) best friend. He does his best to support the Brewer family through an unimaginably complex crisis.
  • Henshall (Turn: Washington's Spies) will play Simon Oxley, a traumatized social media moderator who is looking for a way to gain some control over the situation.
  • Foster (Foxhole) will play Curtis Hamilton, a former colleague of Sophie's (Gabriel) who has a reason to bear a grudge against Nick.
  • Fletcher (Snowpiercer) will play Kai Brewer, Nick and Sophie's youngest son who's naturally athletic, loyal and popular. When his parents are put on trial in the court of public opinion, he doesn't know what to believe.
  • Engels (Malibu Rescue) will play Ethan Brewer, Nick and Sophie's eldest son. Effortlessly smart, but when he attempts to become a hero in real life, he quickly learns that his online skills don't necessarily translate.
  • Jan Luis Castellanos has been cast as a new series regular on the drama's upcoming fourth and final season. He previously recurred on Hulu's Runaways.
  • He will play Diego Torres, a charismatic, aggressive and fiercely loyal leader of a divided football team struggling to understand the loss of one of their own. But as Diego grapples with his own grief and confusion, his violent temper masking a hurting heart, he finds himself falling for one of Liberty High's most complicated women - leaving him caught between past and present, wondering who he can trust.
  • Gugu Mbatha-Raw has landed a major role on the upcoming Marvel drama starring Tom Hiddleston. She recently starred in the first season of AppleTV+'s The Morning Show. Her film credits include Beyond the Lights, Beauty and the Beast, A Wrinkle in Time and Motherless Brooklyn.
  • As with all previous casting on the upcoming drama, no details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing.
  • Kwame Patterson has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fourth season. He previously recurred on Showtime's Ray Donovan, Sony Crackle's The Oath and Amazon's Bosch.
  • He will play Lurp. No additional characters details were immediately announced.
  • Jenna Rosenow is set for a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke. She previously starred for four years in the Australian soap opera Neighbours. She recently appeared in the Peacock drama pilot One of Us Is Lying.
  • She will play Kimber Watts, the hip editor of the Seattle Monthly Magazine. She is a young, preoccupied socialite attempting to make a name for herself.
