AppleTV+ Orders Limited Series Adaptation of 'Presumed Innocent' from David E. Kelley and J.J. Abrams

AppleTV+ has today given a series order to the original limited series Presumed Innocent based on the 1987 novel by Scott Turow and the 1990 feature film starring Harrison Ford. The series will produce 8 episodes.






The series will depict a horrific murder that upends the Chicago Prosecuting Attorneys' office when one of its own is suspected of the crime. The series will explore obsession, sex, politics and the power and the limits of love, as the accused fights to hold his family and marriage together.

David E. Kelley will serve as showrunner on the limited series. He will executive produce with J.J. Abrams, Dustin Thomason, Matthew Tinker and Ben Stephenson. Turow will co-executive produce alongside Rachel Rusch Rich. Warner Bros. Television, Bad Robot Productions and David E. Kelley Productions will produce.
