HULU's UP HERE
  • Carlos Valdes will play the male lead opposite Mae Whitman in the upcoming musical comedy created by Steven Levenson and Danielle Sanchez-Witzel. He previously starred for seven seasons in The CW's The Flash. He recently recurred on the Starz limited series Gaslit.
  • He will play Miguel, who is sensitive and thoughtful with an artistic sensibility and a romantic streak. He has always struggled with the feeling that he doesn't quite belong. But after a cataclysmic breakup, Miguel has decided to reinvent himself, burying his feelings and ditching a promising career as a video game concept artist for the lucrative world of investment banking, determined never to get hurt again.
BBC's DOCTOR WHO
  • Neil Patrick Harris will appear in the drama's upcoming fourteenth season - featuring Ncuti Gatwa and Yasmin Finney. He previously starred for four seasons in ABC's Doogie Howser, M.D., nine seasons in CBS' How I Met Your Mother and three seasons in Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events. He next stars in Netflix's upcoming comedy Uncoupled, which debuts in July.
  • Showrunner Russell T Davies teased Harris' character as the "greatest enemy the Doctor has ever faced."
APPLE TV+'s MRS. AMERICAN PIE
  • Jordan Bridges, Kaia Gerber, Jason Canela, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy and Claudia Ferri have landed recurring roles on the upcoming comedy starring Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Allison Janney and Carol Burnett. Bridges previously starred for seven seasons in TNT's Rizzoli & Isles. Gerber starred in the tenth season of FX's American Horror Story. Canela appeared for three years in CBS' The Young and the Restless. Cohn starred for nine seasons in NBC's The Facts of Life. Duffy starred for seven seasons in CBS' Newhart. Ferri guest starred on USA's Queen of the South and NBC's Transplant.
  • Bridges will play Perry Donahue, an entrepreneur and old schoolmate of Douglas (Josh Lucas).
  • Gerber will play Mitzi, a local manicurist.
  • Canela will play Eddie, a tennis pro at the Palm Beach high society club.
  • Cohn will play Ann, an editor for the society column.
  • Duffy will play Mary Jones Davidsoul, an old-money member of the Palm Beach high society.
  • Ferri will play Raquel, a Cuban ex-pat and member of the Palm Beach high society.
SYFY and USA's CHUCKY
  • Lara Jean Chorostecki has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. She previously recurred on NBC's Hannibal, ABC's Designated Survivor, Amazon's The Expanse and Amazon's Reacher.
  • No details were immediately announced about the character she will be playing.
NETFLIX's THE BROTHERS SUN
  • Michelle Yeoh, Justin Chien, Sam Song Li, Highdee Kuan and Joon Lee will star in the upcoming drama created by Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu. Yeoh recently starred in the films Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Everything Everywhere All at Once. Chien starred in the Snapchat series Two Sides. Song Li guest starred on AMC's Better Call Saul and ABC's Home Economics. Kuan guest starred on Netflix's You and NBC's This Is Us. Lee appeared in the short film Neh.
  • Yeoh will play Mama Sun, who is shrewd and observant, having built a new life for herself and her son in Los Angeles far from her past in Taiwan.
  • Chien will play Charles Sun, who grew up as the elder son of a crime boss, groomed to be a hardened criminal. He goes to Los Angeles to protect his mother and younger brother but finds himself torn between the life he's been raised in and the life he could make for himself.
  • Song Li will play Bruce Sun, who came to the United States as a kid with little memory of Taipei and no idea of his family's past. When his infamous and respected brother shows up on his doorstep, Bruce is thrown into a world that he is vastly unprepared for.
  • Kuan will play Alexis, who is driven and ambitious, having grown up with a strong sense of justice and work ethic which resulted in her becoming an assistant district attorney.
  • Lee will play TK, an aspiring gangster and Bruce's best friend since childhood. He wishes he was tough, loyal and smart - but he isn't. But that doesn't stop him from trying.
  • Alice Hewkin, Jon Xue Zhang, Jenny Yang, Madison Hu and Rodney To have also been cast today in recurring roles. No details were announced about the characters they will be playing.
APPLE TV+'s THE AFTERPARTY
  • Will Greenberg and John Gemberling have booked recurring roles on the comedy's upcoming second season. Greenberg previously starred for three seasons in TBS' Wrecked. Gemberling recurred on Comedy Central's Broad City and Netflix's Big Mouth.
  • Greenberg will play Judson. Gemberling will play Jaxon.
NBC's LAW & ORDER
  • Mehcad Brooks has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming 22nd season. He previously starred for five seasons in The CW's Supergirl. He also appeared in the films Mortal Kombat and A Fall From Grace.
  • No details were immediately announced about the character he will be playing. However, his casting will fill the void caused by the departure of Anthony Anderson.
