MGM+ Sets Premiere Date for New Drama 'Robin Hood' Starring Jack Patten and Lauren McQueen

MGM+ has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original drama series Robin Hood starring Jack Patten and Lauren McQueen.

The 10-episode first season will launch on Sunday, November 2 at 9/8c. with back-to-back episodes. New episodes will be released weekly until the season finale on Sunday, December 28.

The drama brings a modern energy to the classic tale of the roguish outlaw hero (Patten) who stole from the rich and gave to the poor, and the epic love story between him and a courageous and daring Marian (McQueen). It is a smart, sweeping, romantic adventure that brings historical authenticity, psychological depth, and a heightened focus on the relationship between Rob and Marian to the beloved story. Following the Norman invasion of England, Rob - a Saxon forester's son - and Marian, the daughter of a Norman lord - fall in love and work together to fight for justice and freedom. As Rob rises as the leader of a band of rebel outlaws, Marian infiltrates the power at court, as both work together to thwart royal corruption and bring peace to the land.

In addition to Patten and McQueen, the drama stars Sean Bean, Lydia Peckham, Steven Waddington and Connie Nielsen.

Recurring guest stars include Marcus Fraser, Angus Castle-Doughty, Henry Rowley, Aleksa Jovković, Richard Lintern, Erica Ford, Ryan Gage, Oscar Salem, Miloš Timotijević, Tamara Radovanović, Graeme Thomas King, Tom Mison, Anastasia Griffith, Matija Gredić, Mihailo Lazić, Boban Marjanović and Jelena Gavrilović.

John Glenn and Jonathan English created the drama, with Glenn as showrunner and English as director. They executive produce with Todd Lieberman. Lionsgate Television, Balkanic Media and Hidden Pictures produce.
